R.I.P

In the cottage, you take a wrong turn and wind up in Verisa’s secret rooms, instead of the cellar. You wander about aimlessly, noting the mosaic and the old table. A shimmering effect catches your eye and you turn toward Verisa’s long shelves filled with potions. Because you fancy the color orange, you grab the first frothing vial that encapsulates that hue. Uncorking the top, you jump back as the glass shatters with a loud pop. Fumes fill the musty air. A moment later, the cellar grows to enormity as you shrink to an infinitesimal size.  At first you are afraid, but then you find you’ve frog legs and you hop about happily until you wedge your body between a crack in the mortar. It takes the ants several days to find you.
